Circling back to Panama

For this week’s photo challenge, I circle back to Panama and a shotmule taken at the  Panama Canal, specifically the Miraflores Locks Visitor’s Center. This is a close-up of a General Electric emblem on one of the old locomotives, or mules, used to pull and guide ships through the locks.

I’m going back home at the end of next month after a two-year absence. I’m going on my own this time, taking advantage of the extra vacation days you get when you work somewhere for twenty years and even manage to save some up for a special trip. I’m looking forward to spending time with family and taking lots more pictures so I can continue to share with you the beauty that is my Panama.

Interesting that the GE Logo looks new on the rusted and peeling engine.
