November is “Més de la Patria” in Panamá, or “Month of the Homeland,” because of the many national holidays that take place this month, with three of them just in the first week. This article has a pretty good summary and explanation of each:

Below is a cute video I saw on Facebook earlier this week. I love the polleras (the national costume of Panamá) the girls are wearing, but check out the one girl who’s sporting a Marea Roja (Panamá’s national football/soccer team) jersey instead.
