The Sunday Post: We’ve Finally Moved

After much ado, we’ve finally moved. We still have many boxes to unpack and furniture to settle into place, but we’ve said our last good-byes to Lee Ave  and we’re starting to settle into Cranston Lane. Over the next few days, weeks, and months, I will make many decisions about our new place. I will meet new neighbors and possibly make new friends. I will have a new commute and Jeremy will hopefully run into classmates from school and make new friends as well. Doug gets to work from home one day a week and the rest of the week he’s back in the van pool. Adjustments for all of us.

Today I slept in and was deep into unpacking mode when we got a welcome reprieve: a call from Doug’s brother Craig inviting us to come relax by the pool for a few hours. It was just what the doctor ordered. Thank you very much Craig for that time, the company, and the delicious ribs.

And now, it’s time to get a good night’s sleep in preparation for another week of unpacking, deciding, and moving stuff around.

P.S. Happy Father’s Day!
