Maybe I don’t need an explanation for this week’s pick. It’s another performance from Dua Lipa’s NPR Tiny Desk Concert (home edition) appearance last year. I was doing something around my place late last week, as usual I had music playing, when this song came on. A lyric caught my attention:

Scared I would take my broken heart to the grave

I’d rather die than have to live in a storm like before

But goddamn, you got me in love again

If I was a songwriter this is something I could have written about myself. 💕
