It’s been almost two months since we returned from our adventures on the Iberian Peninsula and I’ve been meaning to get back to this blog but one thing or another has distracted me. I’ve been doing a lot of reading, catching up on work and my temperature blanket, visiting friends, and now getting ready for a quick trip to the beach before another work trip. Then I think things will slow down a bit… until my next work trip in October at least. I submitted a story to the Reedsy Weekly Writing Prompts, but it just happened to be something I’d already written that fit last week’s prompt. It’s still on my to-do list to write something new. We’ll see how that goes.
In the meantime, I thought I would share just a few highlights from our trip, featuring the seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites we visited:
- Toledo, Spain
- Parque del Gran Retiro in Madrid, Spain
- Jeronimos Monastery
- Torre de Belem
- Sintra: historic center and the Pena Palace
- Quinta da Regaleira
And a couple bonus scenic shots or see the whole album here:
