I had no idea that the daisy is a symbol for so much.
I was looking through my recent photos after reading the most recent photo challenge prompt and when I saw this photo I thought of the old “he loves me, he loves me not” diversion of our youth. 
Then I did a little research on the symbolism of daisies and found that there is so much more to it, and so much more that can actually apply to my life. And while I’m not going to claim that all of these apply to me, here are a few of the symbolic meanings for daisies:
- love
- innocence
- motherhood
- transformation
- joy
- warmth
- constancy
- family
- patience
- persistence
- appreciation
- quiet strength
- and, it is also associated with the astrological sign Taurus, which happens to be my sign.
So, forget roses; give me daisies any day.
